    I wonder more about why. It certainly isn’t economical! If it’s just for the sake of having fresh eggs then it certainly is ok. But i hope it’s not to save money! It costs $25 – $30 a month to feed a half dozen birds, simple math speaks for itself. Not much way to make any kind of money from chickens here either… the law only allows 25 birds per acre, and roosters are illegal to keep. :(
