Cave Creek, Arizona is located high above Phoenix in the foothills of Black Mountain, Skull Mesa and Elephant Butte. It was established as a gold mining town and shopping point for the U.S. Cavalry in the mid 1870′s. Today, more than 100 years later, Cave Creek is one of the most recognized western towns in the U.S. featuring numerous specialty stores, saloons, rodeo events, and dining.

Cave Creek is approx. 20 minutes from north Phoenix. Another 1.5 hours to Flagstaff.
Looks cool and almost like a ghost town with no people in your photos! I would have so much fun taking pictures here ! Is it in betweeen Phoenix and Flagstaff?
