  1. Ahhh, they said they only accept non published. I didn’t know a blog was considered published.

  2. I didn’t write that, they did. I did send in a revised shorter story (under 5,000 words as they requested) than the first one they turned down (7,000 words) but emailed me back saying while it was an interesting story it was not R&W material. (Doing what’s right even when it’s wrong). At that point I scratched my head and moved on. Still, I enjoy the site :)

    Until Further Notice, Rope and Wire will be accepting submissions from PUBLISHED SHORT STORY AND COWBOY POETRY AUTHORS ONLY.
    If you are a published author who has yet to have a submission posted with Rope and Wire, you MUST list a short bio., and where your past work has been published, at the beginning of your story.
    If this information does not accompany your submission, it will not be considered.
    We review all submissions before posting to the website.
