Sun Goddess or Dumbo?

Three months and a $1,000 later, Fancypants has found the shade cover I had built in the turn-out. She stood in the blazing sun for three months in temperatures reaching 117, and now it’s fall… what the heck!

Oh well, so she isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed…  I still love her.

The phrase, “You can drag a horse to water but you can’t make it drink!” springs to mind 🙂

I once had a yoga teacher who said it is very important to be in the sun. With many women having vitamin D deficiency i think the animals have something to tell us. My Black dog goes out and lays in the sun every day.
Besides that, I bet Fancy stood in that shade all summer. Just not when you were home. Animals also have a way of doing things like that.
