Craig’s List, Sold!

Five Birds, Gone in Fifteen Minutes!

Buff Orphington, Brown egg layer / Oct. 1, 2010

Hard to believe, this morning I put five hens on Craig’s List and within 15 minutes of placing the ad they were all sold. The calls and emails kept coming, but I couldn’t pull the ad since I also had miscellaneous poultry supplies included in the post. By 3 pm this afternoon the birds and every last item in the ad were picked up and gone. I pulled the ad, it is now  9:30 pm…  my cell is still ringing.

  1. Yay for Craig’s List, I’ve sold a lot of things there. Whenever I sell multiple items, I always go back and delete the sold items, including images, then update and save. That way I’m not getting calls on items I’ve already sold. Like they say, a bird in hand is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, or something like that. 🙂 Congratulations!
