My hens are fat and happy and I’m thrilled that my feed bill is half what it was. How? Because I prepare them a feast for breakfast everyday with our left over table scraps.
Funny, it looks pretty good to me, but in reality, the grapes and tomatoes are mushy, the greens limp, the rice could pass for wallpaper paste, and the bread is hard as a rock. But my ladies wait by the gate like it’s a Thanksgiving feast fit for a king… or at least a few queens.
