Reclaimed Redwood Chicken Coop

Environmentally friendly and cute as can be, found this coop on the Williams-Sonoma website. Have a look, this one is just one of many.

Built by hand using reclaimed redwood and decorated with a hand painted rooster, this chicken coop combines modern green construction with the rustic appeal of an old barn…. Visit website to learn more.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COOP FOR 2 HENS OR 4 BANTAMS

You’ll need to do some predator proofing along the bottom of this coop. Another suggestion would be to extend the run area to include the space below the nesting area. I like space, and it’s always nice to have a little shelter in the run area on a rainy day.

Love the painting of the rooster on the side. 😉

  2. Charming. You’re right, it is small but great if space is an issue. Love the eco approach and the painting.
