I was re-reading “Day by Day the Farm Girl Way” as I had received a notification that another comment had been made to the post about Daisy and her young’uns. Seeing that you had honored her, I just wanted to stick my head in and say thanks for giving her that honor. I am one of her faithful readers and must praise her work. She has an ability to take a mundane subject and turn it into a well-written, fascinating story. Thanks again and now I am going to read some of your postings (smile). My wife and I moved to a rural area in 1975 (during the hippy-dippy inspired back to the land movement) and still love living in a rural area. We did have a two year break of suburban living while buying a new piece of land that was bigger and closer to my wife’s job and then waiting for construction to be finished on our home but we have lived rural since 1975 to present with that one small break. I would NEVER consider going back!!!!! Your blog sounds right up my alley. Thank you again for featuring “Day by Day the Farm Girl Way” and I hope that it will increase her volume of readership!!!
