Flash Food Hits TBN Ranch

Yesterday a flash flood threatened us when raging flood waters came within an 1/8 inch of entering our home. Our garage flooded, and the ranch looks pretty bad, but other than some giant three foot deep holes from mountain run-off, the ranch held up pretty good.

Service Drive

This little bunny found some high ground, but I fear her babies were in harms way under the feed shed. Many of the rabbits who live here took cover on my front porch, this picture below might better explain why…

We may have a mess to clean up, but at least it’s outdoors, so far.  Just read, more storms in the forecast for today. Are you kidding me? 😦

Oh, no! Glad it stopped before flooding your house. Scary.

It’s been storming every evening for the past week in western Colorado and today the rain hasn’t let up at all. Kind of puts a damper on things, but those flash floods are always scary. Hope you don’t have too much of a mess to clean up and things dry up quickly. Stay safe!

  5. Is this a regular occurrence or something out of the ordinary?

Now I’m not sure whether the “like” I clicked is appropriate… hope you stay safe…

  7. I’m glad it didn’t get your house too!

Oh, no!!! So glad it didn’t get into your house, and I hope and pray that it won’t get in, if you have more of this rain and flooding…
