Where’s the Cure?

amy elizabeth

Miserable with a runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing from a COLD… that’s been my last 4 days.  I feel better today, but now, not only is my nose neon red from using thousands of Kleenex and seriously abusing nose spray, but any minute I’m expecting to cough up a lung from coughing.  But…

This was a learning experience to say the least… we are paying a ridiculous amount of money to have a billion stations of absolute crap to watch on T.V.  This is seriously something to think about, and I say ditch the cable.

I can still watch Chuck Norris’s gym thingy infomercial, and Christie Brinkley’s amazing skin care crap that keeps her looking 25 years old without cable right? 😦

  1. Hope you’re all better now. It’s not fun to be sick.

Chucked it all in a long time ago… nothing to watch in 100 s of stations… a waste of time…

  3. I hope you get better soon! I’m with you on the cable!

  4. Agree on the tv, for two years we suspend tv every other six months. Finally we decided to downgrade to the lowest level and get the channels we really want to watch, saved $ in doing so.
Take care of your cold, hope you get well soon.

  5. Sorry about your nose. We never have had cable. We miss a lot in one way but there is still plenty to watch and we do have Netflix so we catch up on many series later with no commercials. And it’s a lot cheaper.

That’s exactly why I don’t watch much TV. I sure hope you get over your cold. There is a lot of that going around Oklahoma too. So far, we’ve dodged it here!
