A Walk in the Park

Eighty-two degrees in Phoenix and a perfect day to visit the park. These pics were taken in Fountain Hills, Arizona, home to one of the world’s tallest man-made fountains.

It was amazing how these birds posed for the camera, it was fun photographing them, but whatever they are is just a guessing game for me.  My wild bird knowledge may be very sad, but on the positive side, I’m absolutely certain they’re NOT chickens!

Pretty sure these are Mallard ducks…

This goofy footed bird might be an American Coot…  *:-/ confused

Beautiful! I admit I’m jealous because it’s raining and 40 degrees here. But no snow, at least.

  2. Bongo says:

I’m almost feeling guilty (not) that Arizona is having such great weather when the rest of the country is snowed under.

    Fantastic pictures! Hugs
